Re: chainsaw parts

Gotta keep it going, it's my favorite saw. The dual port on the MS660 is fun, it pisses off the neighbors greatly, but this thing just fucking sings! I'm running a factory dual port, with a slight bump in the carb. Guy who tuned it brought the engine rpm's up by 2600 (he reports), but with that litt...

Re: chainsaw parts

Cylinder was awesome, still visible crosshairs, no scoring at all on either the cylinder or piston. Shit even the exhaust port was perfect. So, new crank seals (cut out a little running on it's left side), new rings, and it'll be back together running the 28 by Tuesday.

Re: chainsaw parts

Checked it this morning, 128psi. Cylinder is nice and clean with good visible cross hairs still. I think I'm going to ring it and go.

Re: chainsaw parts

I'm going to start pricing out everything for a full rebuild in the next 2 weeks or so. Saw's not hurting, but I have put over 300 hours on it in the last 4 years, so it's time to freshen it up. Compressions starting to get low, so never hurts to fix it before it's screwed.

Paints faded on the front, has dings and dents, but it's a truck. I use it as such. Bed is smashed to hell inside from me chucking everything in it. The trans crossmember has been bent and rebent a few times. But ya, for a bone stock 94 xlt, it went everywhere (except the mud lol). All I did to it u...

I saw your plate, and didn't know if you had any association with them. I grabbed the list of roads. I'm going to be in Winchester Saturday looking at 2 houses with my wife. I think I'll have to bring the WJ up instead of her car.

Re: Forum is dead?

Nice, that's all the types of terrain I love. Right now, I'm running a WJ with a 2" bb and some metric 31's. It's ok, but not locked. There's a lot of place it can go, but a lot of terrain it can't.

Re: Forum is dead?

My family is going to be moving from CT to the Keene area next summer after the kids are out of school. Although I'm not new to the wheeling scene as I've been in it for 25+ years, I am new to wheeling in NH. I have a list of class 6 roads, but have no idea what is worth the time, and what will just...

Getting my name out to the New Hampshire wheeling community. I'm currently active on the ENH forum, and I'm looking for additional groups to get to know. A little about me. Currently in Plainville CT, but will be relocating to Keene next summer after the kids are out of school. I've been an active m...
